In a few words

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (GPO Team) to join our team and support our customers in Zürich.

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including forest management, cleanup, policy development, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) across client and server environments.
  • Manage user identities, access rights, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient account control.
  • Maintain and optimize patch management systems for both Windows (WSUS) and Linux (Red Hat Satellite) platforms.
  • Develop, implement, and manage infrastructure automation tools to streamline operational tasks and deployment processes.
  • Create and manage deployment kits, including virtual machine configurations and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Standardize and maintain OS templates used in Air Navigation Services (ANS) environments.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT operations or systems engineering, ideally in a mission-critical environment.
  • Strong expertise in Windows operating systems and Active Directory services.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-scale, regulated IT environments with high operational standards.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment and infrastructure provisioning tools and methodologies.
  • Good understanding of virtualization platforms, especially VMware.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Fluent written & spoken English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting.
  • Understanding of secure IT operations in regulated environments.

Job conditions

  • Permanent contract
  • 2 days per week home office
