Data & AI Validation Specialist

Location: Switzerland (Basel)

Contract length: 12 months

We are seeking a Data & AI Validation Specialist to support the validation of AI models, data pipelines, and analytics solutions that drive pharmaceutical and biotech operations. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain regulatory compliance, ensure data integrity, and contribute to the deployment of cutting-edge digital solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain validation plans, test protocols, and reports to ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations.
• Oversee validation activities, including risk assessments, performance monitoring, and issue resolution related to data quality and AI model performance.
• Collaborate with global teams to validate and qualify data pipelines, AI-driven solutions, and analytics tools in line with regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Computer System Validation (CSV) during audits and inspections.
• Work alongside quality and compliance teams to uphold regulatory standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and industry best practices.
  
  

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT & Software Validation (CSV, GAMP), ideally in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environment.
• Expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and the validation of AI models, data platforms, and software systems.
