Responsibilities

  1. Be part of the high-performing Risk Consulting and Forensics Team advising clients in TIS (Trade, Industry, non-financial Services) on Governance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, and Forensic projects.
  2. Lead transformative projects on internal controls, including those according to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), covering scoping, design, implementation, testing, remediation, and reporting.
  3. Manage high-quality, data-driven internal audit engagements from planning to reporting.
  4. Manage a team of consultants, providing coaching and guidance.
  5. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  6. Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including proposals and presentations.
  7. Support the development of internal methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  8. Work within a diverse, international team, enhancing your technical and soft skills through training and industry exposure.

Your Impact

  • Advising diverse clients on governance, controls, audit, risk management, and forensic projects.
  • Leading internal control projects, including SOX compliance and testing phases.
  • Managing internal audit engagements and delivering insights.
  • Leading and coaching a team of consultants.
  • Fostering strong client relationships and business growth.
  • Contributing to methodological improvements and team development.

Your Skill Set

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, IT, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications like CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in controls, audit, or risk management, with 2+ years in leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of auditing standards, SOX, COSO, and internal controls.
  • Proven project and client management skills.
  • Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and GRC platforms is advantageous.
