Manufacturing Methodology Engineer (Group Leader)
Position:
100% Full-time, CDI
Responsibilities:
Ensure project execution occurs within the process flow without disruptions.
Allocate materials properly across project phases, maintaining quality standards and adhering to JIT principles.
Conduct technical evaluations for make/buy decisions.
Align and communicate regularly with key stakeholders.
Develop and implement manufacturing methods to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Support project execution through Simultaneous Engineering.
Hire, train, and supervise a team of 8-10 Manufacturing Methodology specialists.
Assess team performance, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
Train teams on new processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Mechanical Engineers for project follow-up.
Provide proactive support during urgent situations to prevent delays.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards (including ESG).
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven leadership and organizational skills.
Experience in manufacturing management roles.
Knowledge of manufacturing and project management processes, methodologies, and standards.
Project management certification is an asset.
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations is an asset.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive problem-solving skills.
Deep knowledge of Process Improvement tools like JIT and DMAIC.
Knowledge of Microsoft Project, SAP, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
Fluent in French and English.
