Project Leader (f/m/d) Microbial Downstream Process Development 80-100%

We are currently looking for a Project Leader (m/w/d) to join our Microbial Downstream Process (DSP) Development team in Visp, Switzerland.

The Project Leader is responsible for the overall technical aspect related to downstream process development and has an in-depth knowledge and experience in executing complex projects ensuring consistency with company commitments and goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Acts as the technical and administrative project lead in DSP development projects.
• Serves as primary on-site interface for the customer and ensures the project is delivered in line with the agreed objectives and timelines.
• Anticipates innovations in the area of expertise and manages the implementation of new technologies.
• Shares its expertise within the team and coaches other team members.

Key requirements:

• Doctoral or master degree in biotechnology or related field, experience in a biopharmaceutical environment is a plus.
• Practical experience and scientific expertise in DSP relevant areas.
• Able to analyze and solve complex problems that do not have routine solutions.
• Proven leadership skills to motivate and develop team members in a matrix organization.
• Ability to collaborate constructively and communicate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and across the organization.
• Fluency in English is required, German is a plus.
