Senior UX Designer - Design System (m / f / d)

We are looking for an experienced and talented Senior UX Designer - Design System Focus to join our team. Be part of the global in-house UX team. We are a multidisciplinary team, distributed across various locations, responsible for all Dentsply Sirona Software solutions. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing, scaling, and maintaining a comprehensive design system that fosters consistency, efficiency, and exceptional user experiences across our dental products and digital platforms. This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in design and implementation, including creating, refining, and maintaining design components, templates, patterns, and visual assets. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the success and continuous improvement of the design system.

Your responsibilities :

• Hands-on Design System Development: Create components, templates, patterns, visual elements, and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and responsiveness across all products. Incorporate emerging trends, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
• Guidance and Support: Provide hands-on support to designers, developers, and product teams through design reviews, actionable feedback, and answering questions in shared channels.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX teams, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate and ensure consistent application of the design system across projects.
• Insight-Driven Approach: Ask critical questions and collaborate with user research to ensure data-driven decision-making in design updates.
• Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on design system advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends; introduce innovative solutions to enhance user experience and design system impact.
• Advocacy and Knowledge Sharing: Promote best practices, create documentation, and share knowledge through presentations and onboarding to ensure adoption and consistency.

Your Profile :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in design systems, visual and UI/UX design for digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design system development and UI/UX processes.
• Experience in B2B product design is advantageous.
