Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Drives and Excitation Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of generator excitation and/or frequency converter systems
• Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start up and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries
• Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide
• Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various backgrounds and expertise
• Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts

How you can help us

• Electrical Technician or Engineering degree
• Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufacturers
• Preferably experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.)
• Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects
• You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers and co-workers of other cultures
• Ability to communicate in English
