Field Application Specialist

This is a field-based role, and you will spend up to 50% of your time working across the European territory supporting customers. We are prioritizing candidates in proximity to our Rolle, CH headquarters to facilitate efficient collaboration with colleagues, and will support relocation for suitably experienced individuals.

Your mission

As our Field Application Specialist, you will be responsible for training and supporting our customers on all SOPHiA GENETICS Bundle solutions. You will closely interact with the sales and product management teams to relay customer needs and feedback, ensuring we continuously improve our offerings. You will also contribute to ongoing laboratory projects, such as protocol optimizations, and support the team by drafting scientific and quality documents, including fact sheets and work instructions.

The value you bring

Customer Training and Support:

• Provide appropriate training to customers on SOPHiA GENETICS solutions, manage customer support
• Build effective relationships with new and existing clients for field application purposes, monitor customer feedback on product usage

Internal Laboratory participation:

• Elaborate laboratory documents
• Train internal and external collaborators

Product Development:

• Gather feedback from customers regarding their needs, communicate internally for product design improvement
• Coordinate with the development and/or marketing team for proper market implementation

Requirements

We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:

• Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation and capture
• This role may suit a first-mover from the lab, but you'll ideally already bring previous customer-facing exposure in an FAS or implementation style role
• Experience with automation or liquid handling robotics (Hamilton, Revvit, Beckman, Eppendorf) is extremely valuable
• An ability to travel to various locations across Europe to execute training and provide customer support

• You will need to be fully fluent in English - Additional European language skills are beneficial.
