Contributes to the end-to-end planning department as an established and productive individual contributor, who works under moderate supervision. Helps implement projects, programs, and processes in support of the organization's overall supply chain strategy. Applies practical knowledge of the end-to-end planning field to administer best of class policies, procedures, and plans for the area.

Key Responsibilities:

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Administers supply chain optimization processes, supply chain synchronization processes, and recovery planning efforts.
  • Conducts routine assessment of the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommends prioritized actions to resolve and balance all relevant trade-offs.
  • Contributes to components of projects, programs, or processes for the end-to-end planning area.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize E2E value stream within the current SC infrastructure.
  • Leverages IBP Process to provide transparency of risks and opportunities and recommend next steps regarding E2E decisions.
  • Drives implementation of best practices in E2E planning.
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of supply chain field to assist service providers with creation of standard productivity measurements, standard work, and systems that ensure processes created are sustained.
  • Coordinates inspections, tours, and supports audits of Supply Chain areas on site.
  • Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes and responsibilities.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; Advanced degree preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics
  • ERP (SAP) and Advanced Planning Systems (APS/APO/OMP) knowledge
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to conduct data analysis and provide summaries and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ability to take initiatives, work independently in a structured and determined way
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
  • Ability to influence peers using effective communication and presentation skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in the Health Care Industry or related Industries
  • Experience in demand & supply, distribution requirements planning, inventory management, scenario analysis, or S&OP/IBP process
  • APICS certification

Other:

  • English: Business fluent
  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites
