We are seeking an experienced Application Responsible / IT Service Owner to join Markets Technology in the Global Products & Solutions division. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to internal and external clients, collaborating closely with external SaaS partners, and ensuring the smooth operation of our trading solutions.
As an Application Responsible / IT Service Owner, you will act as a gateway to our external providers and as a key integrator of their solutions, representing the bank's interests in terms of service quality. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Owning the technical front-to-end solution integration and maintenance, ensuring seamless connectivity, data processing, and security.
- Leading technical changes for applications as part of IT solution delivery, while ensuring accountability for application availability, connectivity, and lifecycle management.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and keeping application repositories up-to-date.
- Handling technical requests from our central IT department.
- Acting as a technical liaison to vendors, ensuring seamless connectivity and data processing, and addressing security-related topics.
- Performing hands-on configuration and scripting tasks.
- Periodically reviewing internal charges and optimizing cost efficiency of the solution.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, principles, and guidelines.
- Collaborating in an agile setup with fellow application responsible, traders, sales colleagues, product owners, scrum masters, architects, and agile squads.
The applications in scope include an application to administer Actively Managed Certificates, an app and platform to display quotes, and areas involving Fixed Income- and FX-trading, as well as Execution Management System. You will also participate in projects to further integrate and extend external services, preparing necessary documents, such as system design and interface specifications, and ensuring adherence to security policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in integrating and connecting SaaS solutions for trading equities, fixed income, and FX instruments.
- Strong understanding of trading systems, protocols, and technologies.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with professional education in the financial industry.
- Enthusiastic team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and orchestrate implementation.
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written) and very good German skills.
- On-call duty (Pikettdienst).
