Key Account Director - Ebury Institutional Solutions

Location: Zurich - Office Based

As a Key Account Director for Ebury Institutional Solutions, you will be responsible for expanding Ebury’s Institutional client base in Switzerland. Your role involves promoting the growth of the Ebury Institutional brand through direct sales, attending events, networking in the fields of Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, and Alternative Investment Funds. You will also partner with Corporate Service Providers, Law Firms, Depositories, and Fund Administrators serving these sectors.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and grow existing accounts.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and within the fund ecosystem, understanding their payment, cash management, and FX needs.
  3. Establish rapport and credibility with clients through networking and presenting solutions that address their international payment and Forex requirements.
  4. Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting institutional FX markets.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams such as FX dealing and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
  6. Leverage Ebury’s global presence to serve clients worldwide.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in business development within FX, cross-border financial services, or corporate services/fund administration, selling to institutional clients in Switzerland.
  2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, numerical, and verbal reasoning skills.
  3. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships at senior levels.
  4. Experience in maintaining relationships with institutional clients and understanding the fund space in Switzerland.
  5. Based in Zurich.
  6. Fluent in German; French language skills are a plus.
