ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an expert in SAP Basis with a proven ability to solve complex technical and business issues? We are seeking an IT support analyst to manage a large SAP landscape in Zürich, working in a hybrid model of remote and on-site work.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and support multiple SAP systems
2. Perform patch updates, kernel upgrades, and system upgrades
3. Troubleshoot incidents, debug SAP and databases (Oracle and HANA), and define workarounds
4. Monitor SAP performance and tuning
5. Manage storage solutions for database files and application data
6. Engage with internal and external stakeholders
7. Share knowledge, support, train, and coach team members

Requirements

1. 8+ years of SAP Basis experience
2. Proficiency in Linux and Windows, with expertise in Oracle and HANA
3. Experience with SAP router, System Landscape Directory, and troubleshooting ABAP and Java platforms
4. Exposure to Azure for SAP hosting
5. Knowledge of software development tools like JIRA and GitHub
6. Strong problem-solving and solution design skills
7. Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences
8. ITIL certification and experience with ServiceNow are advantageous
9. Fluent in English; German skills are a plus
