We are hiring for a part-time (60-70%), 12-month fixed-term HR People Partner role to serve as the main point of contact for senior management and employees in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Acting as a strategic and operational advisor, coach, and service provider, the role delivers the People strategy across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, retention, performance and talent management, compensation, organisational design, employee relations, learning and development, engagement, succession planning, and terminations. The role also provides expert guidance on employee relations matters, partnering with key stakeholders to address workplace conflicts, grievances, disciplinaries, and restructuring activities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically partner with senior stakeholders and advise on people strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Drive business decisions, understanding the needs and the legal/regulatory framework.
  • Align HR initiatives with key business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate across HR and business units to influence decisions, communicate effectively, and support HR activities.
  • Support and coach managers to effectively lead their teams.
  • Implement talent and performance initiatives such as management effectiveness, psychometrics, organisational design, engagement, and development programs.
  • Interpret data to identify issues and craft compelling narratives to shape the people agenda.
  • Lead change initiatives, facilitating discussions and influencing stakeholders to consider all options.
  • Design organisational structures that promote diversity, skills, and talent development.
  • Develop reward strategies aligned with performance and business goals.
  • Provide advice and coaching to senior leaders, identifying development needs and collaborating with COEs for solutions.
  • Manage payroll processes for three entities, including pension and insurance matters, in collaboration with payroll teams.
  • Oversee year-end payroll activities, including reconciliation and reporting.
  • Proactively manage People Risks with empathy and transparency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of global HR policies respecting local laws.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives.
  • Promote staff wellbeing and support mental health initiatives.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Some payroll experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an HR People Partnering role.
  • Comfortable handling employee relations and redundancies.
  • Experience in Financial Services is preferred.
