About the Position:
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Vice Presidents for Software Product Development to join our Automotive team at Capgemini Engineering. In this global role, you will lead initiatives in software product development for software-defined vehicles and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge solutions for our automotive clients worldwide.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead complex software product development projects for automotive clients, focusing on technologies for software-defined vehicles.
- Develop and implement product strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs in the automotive sector.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions across various vehicle systems and platforms.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software product development.
- Build and strengthen close client relationships, acting as a trusted partner in software product development.
- Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling across multiple projects.
- Attract, develop, and retain top-tier talent to grow the team and department.
Desired Experience and Background:
- 10+ years of experience in software product development, including at least 5 years in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in architectures and technologies for software-defined vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Proven success in managing large-scale software projects, including offshore development centers.
