About us

Your Contribution

1. As Team Leader, you lead, develop, and motivate a team of experienced product engineers (up to 6 FTEs).
2. You develop the expertise of your team in alignment with the Competence Fields strategy and ensure that the technical knowledge is well organized and shared within Glass Syringes and outside.
3. You assign your team members to innovation and customer-specific projects and support them in planning and executing their work packages.
4. You guide the project team members to develop high-quality products by following the design control process and preparing robust design reviews.
5. You identify technical risks or issues and support the team in defining possible countermeasures or driving decisions.
6. You secure the intellectual property of new products and ideas.
7. You analyze project requests for their technical feasibility and prepare estimates of costs and timelines for product development work packages.

Your Profile

1. University degree in Life Science or Engineering (medical technology, pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, etc.)
2. 3+ years of project management experience and a minimum of 2 years of team leadership experience
3. Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams in complex organizations and the ability to motivate and guide team members
4. Experience with product/process development of medical devices or pharmaceutical packaging and knowledge of design control processes, process validation, and related standards (21 CFR 820; ISO 13485; ISO 15378)
5. Fluent in English (written and spoken) and in German (written and spoken)
6. Capability to master the big picture but also technical details when required, structured working style, and ability to prioritize
7. Strategic mindset and business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills
