Aksia is an alternative assets specialist, providing investment solutions for institutional investors globally. Our business provides clients with advisory, investment management, and research services across hedge funds, private credit, private equity, real assets, and real estate. As of February 28, 2025. Assets Under Supervision is inclusive of $340bn of assets under advisement (“AUA”) and $30bn assets under management (“AUM”).

Position Overview:

Aksia is seeking a talented Pan-Alternatives professional. The Pan-Alternatives team at Aksia is responsible for developing and maintaining new relationship across large, sophisticated investors like Pension funds, Foundations, Insurance firms and Family Offices to Wealth Management Entities, bringing together the resources of the firm for the benefit of each client. The team works with existing clients on the development and implementation of their alternative investment portfolios and is also the central point for the marketing and business development efforts of the firm.

This position is for an independent contractor and not a direct employee of Aksia; however, there is potential for it to transition into a full-time employment opportunity, which is based in Zurich and will involve interaction with global colleagues and clients, with focus on the DACH prospects and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Focusing on the business development and outreach in German speaking areas, including logistics for road shows, and conferences
  • Coordinating client-focused projects across research, asset class, legal/compliance and client operations teams
  • Collecting, organizing and tracking prospective client information
  • Leading prospective client meetings, proposals and pacing analysis, strategic plans, including presentations and other ad-hoc projects
  • Organizing road show, creating leads and building target lists

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of investment experience with knowledge of alternative strategies, specifically private markets and product launching, with solid established relationships to the institutional client base in German speaking countries.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage projects independently
  • Effective writing and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic
  • German and English languages are a requirement with written proficiency
