1. Design, develop, and refine cyber detections to uncover potential malicious activities and attacks before they impact our organization.
2. Analyze identified malicious activity to uncover weaknesses exploited, methods of exploitation, and effects on systems.
3. Proactively contribute to the improvement of new content based on observed security activity, ensuring our defenses remain ahead of emerging threats.
4. Collaborate closely with our colleagues from Cyber Monitoring, Threat Response, Red and Purple teams, CTI, and Security Engineering to fortify the bank’s security landscape.
5. Stay on top of emerging threats and industry-based best practices to continuously enhance the security posture of the organization.

Your team

As we continue to evolve in the cloud, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Cyber Detection unit in Zurich. Be a driving force in shaping and enhancing our cyber defense capabilities alongside a motivated and empowered team committed to perpetual improvement.

Your expertise

1. Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in security, threat detection, or consultancy, with a specific focus on cyber detection.
2. Proficiency with the usual security stack: EDR, on-prem and cloud SIEM.
3. Experience with deployment of custom Cyber Security solutions including hands-on work (scripting and coding ideally in Python).
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills, taking personal ownership and driving remediation.
5. A passion for technical topics, curiosity, and a proactive attitude towards security.
6. Security certification seen as a plus (Offensive Security, GIAC, CISSP, CompTIA...).
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A team player, always professional while also keeping a casual setting.
