About Senior Salesforce Administrator & Architect :

At Distalmotion, Transformation is an incremental approach to changing the way our organization operates to achieve significant improvements in efficiency. It involves the streamlining and integration of business processes (BP), Master Data (MD), and Business Applications– including, but not limited to, ERP, CRM, PLM, ALM and EQMS. The goal is to drive operational efficiency, elevate customer satisfaction and foster value creation.

As part of a growing business, you will join the Transformation Office as part of the Business Applications group focus on the CRM - SFDC. You will act as a bridge between business needs and CRM ecosystem, gathering requirements, optimizing processes, troubleshooting issues, enhancing user experience and ensuring technology effectively supports business objectives.

The Senior Salesforce Administrator & Architect plays a crucial role in managing, customizing, and optimizing the Salesforce platform to support business needs. This role goes beyond admin tasks and often take on responsibilities close to a developer or junior architect, becoming Salesforce.com subject matter expert and platform owner.

Also, creates, prioritizes, and maintains the product backlog for SFDC to maximize value.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain Salesforce instances (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).
  • Design and implement scalable architecture, automation, and security models within Salesforce.com.
  • Implement advanced configurations, workflows, validation rules, and process automation.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Design, configuration, basic development, testing and user training.
  • Data management: import/export, deduplication, data integrity.
  • User management, profiles, roles, permission sets.
  • Coordinate sandbox strategy, deployments, and release management.
  • Implement and oversee backup & recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with developers on larger projects.
  • Oversee platform governance, including change management, validation and compliance.

Work Experience and Education requirements :

  • 5+ years Salesforce related experience.
  • Admin certification and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required.
  • Platform App Builder or Architect certifications preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge on Reports & Dashboards.
  • Expert-level in Flow and Process Builder, validation rules, formula fields, approval processes, and Lightning App Builder.
  • Strong understanding of role hierarchy, sharing rules, permission sets, profiles, and field-level security.
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs is a plus.
  • Salesforce Shield and Field History Audit Trail experience.
  • Role-Based Access Control in Salesforce.com.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required :

  • Business Acumen.
  • Knowledge of other business systems part of the CRM ecosystem (Docebo, QAD ERP, TrackWise Digital, Box, …) and their interdependencies.
  • Knowledge in data integration and visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of version control and deployment tools, such as Gearset, Copado, change sets.
  • Project management.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills.

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability.
