Your role and responsibilities

Within the Industries department, which focuses on process automation in the oil & gas and chemical/pharma market segments, the Project Manager is responsible for all deliveries (projects, products, services, and contracts) of Process Automation assigned projects. The projects vary greatly in size, complexity, and turnaround time. You will mainly be responsible for:

1. Coordinating the execution of small projects, ensuring activities align with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety, and environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling goals.
2. Assisting the Project Controls department in defining project documents, including scope, financial plans, schedules, and risk management plans.
3. Monitoring and controlling project progress, resource utilization, and financials, while overseeing invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
4. Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing risks, and pursuing opportunities.
5. Managing project acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
6. Coordinating with Procurement and Logistics to procure services, materials, and equipment from suppliers.
7. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, acting as a key contact and escalation point.
8. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications for the role

• An Engineering degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Over 5 years of Project Management experience, preferably in Process Automation in the chemical industry.
• Experience managing project scope, costs, schedules, and vendors/subcontractors.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English, spoken and written.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and effective communication skills.
