Job Description

As a domain consultant for network security transformation, you will provide technical expertise and guidance in customers' network security and zero trust initiatives. You will be instrumental in defining technical solutions that support our customers' key business imperatives. You will also promote our leadership in on-premises, cloud, and security services, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a trusted cybersecurity partner.

Your Impact

  • Collaborate with sales teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization.
  • Present to customers at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership, as a technical expert.
  • Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our unique value proposition.
  • Manage prospective customers' and partners' Technical Validation projects to ensure technical wins.
  • Architect solutions to enhance and simplify customers' security posture.
  • Document high-level designs and key use cases for proper implementation and value realization.
  • Lead discussions on industry trends and emerging security landscape changes.
  • Discuss product alignment with customer needs and differentiate our offerings.
  • Serve as the main technical contact for Network Security, collaborating on RFIs/RFPs.
  • Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services for successful implementation and value realization.
  • Discuss and compare competitive offers, positioning ours as the best alternative.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Experience in pre-sales or sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.
  • Excellent customer communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with customers, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Solid understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of on-premises and cloud-delivered network security technologies.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
