Seeking a Global Program Clinical Head (GPCH) for Gene Therapies and Rare Disease early development projects. The GPCH ensures early development plans and proof of concept studies align with the Development strategy and leads licensing evaluations for Clinical Development across various indications. As an integrative leader, the GPCH supports decision milestones, regulatory requirements, and market access in collaboration with relevant functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads strategic planning, execution, and delivery of global clinical trials within the assigned TA, overseeing budget and resource allocation, and driving operational excellence.
  2. Acts as the Clinical Development Representative on project teams from pre-PE to TDP, contributing to TA strategies and supporting Business Development & Licensing activities.
  3. Manages resources across units and global projects, builds high-performing teams, and fosters an empowered culture.
  4. Develops and reviews SOPs and departmental procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. MD or MD/PhD in Neurology, Genetics, Pediatrics, or Neuroscience preferred.
  2. Advanced clinical training and knowledge in the therapeutic area; Medical Board certification preferred.
  3. 6+ years (MD) or 10+ years (PhD/PharmD) in clinical research or drug development, including Phases I-IV and dossier submission experience.
  4. Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area with ability to design innovative clinical studies and interpret data.

This hybrid role can be based in Basel, London, Barcelona, Madrid, or Dublin.
