Your Mission

As Senior Legal Counsel, you will manage Frontify’s global contract landscape, oversee legal documents and agreements for our Customers, Vendors, Partners, and other relevant internal teams. You’ll be the driver of the legal strategies for the entire contract lifecycle management function, working closely with the Head of Legal. You’ll also be a cornerstone of our legal operations, offering guidance across critical areas such as Contract Law, IP Rights and relevant applicable European, US, and Swiss Law. Additionally, you’ll ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across the legal function while contributing to Frontify’s growth.

Your responsibilities

Contract management

• You’ll draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and commercial contracts for our customers, vendors, and strategic partners.
• You’ll lead and manage the legal output for high-stakes complex deals with external stakeholders to drive favorable outcomes.
• You’ll assist in developing, implementing, and updating legal policies, processes, and best practices.
• You’ll oversee the entire efficiency of the contract management tool stack.

Advisory and guidance

• You’ll provide expert legal guidance on areas such as Contract law, Intellectual Property, AI, and Compliance.
• You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Product, People, Security, etc.) to ensure legal alignment with business objectives.
• You’ll provide legal insights on industry developments, and contribute to internal trainings.

Risk management

• You’ll monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance across all business activities, including the impact of further AI development in our offering.
• You’ll provide strategic legal counsel to leadership on risk assessment and mitigation.

Your story

• You can work from anywhere in Switzerland, and ideally you feel excited and comfortable to come to our St Gallen office once or twice a week.
• You are either a qualified lawyer and/or have 5+ years of professional experience in the tech industry.
• Ideally, you hold a Law degree from a Swiss university. Good knowledge of Swiss, US and European law is a plus.
• You have the ability to analyze foreign legislation, manage global compliance, and think outside the box.
• You’re an exceptional negotiator with excellent judgment in balancing legal risks with business strategy.
• You have a business-oriented approach, and are confident in providing clear, practical, and strategic legal advice.
• You’re an excellent communicator, and have previous experience working with senior leadership with an adaptable style that suits a fast-changing environment.
• You speak both English and German fluently.
