Your impact

This role offers the chance to work on a new ML-based software platform and a pioneering research program transforming biopharmaceuticals.

You will collaborate with top engineers, scientists, and ML researchers to develop this transformative platform. This is a new role, requiring initiative and previous experience to shape your contributions.

What you will do

• Conduct large-scale biostatistical analysis and harmonization of proteomics datasets.
• Implement and utilize tools for mass spectrometry proteomics.
• Apply methodologies for functional analysis, including pathway and gene set enrichment analyses.
• Develop and manage pipelines for functional genomics and proteomics.
• Create and maintain robust data models and integration strategies for data quality and interoperability.
• Collaborate with biology and chemistry teams, providing guidance on bioinformatics initiatives.
• Train and support staff in proteomics, genomics, and data analysis tools.

Skills and qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data harmonization and normalization.
• Proficiency with proteomics data, including mass spectrometry pipelines.
• Experience with genomics data, such as variant calling and RNA-seq analysis.
• Knowledge of functional analysis tools and methods.
• Programming skills in Python or R, with bioinformatics pipeline development experience.
• Understanding of network analysis methodologies.
• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, especially drug discovery.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms.
• Familiarity with workflow management systems like Nextflow or Snakemake.
• Exposure to machine learning applications in genomics and proteomics.
