Position Overview:
MedRes is seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Regional European Sales Representative – to drive commercial success across key European markets. This individual will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and accelerating revenue growth for surgical handheld instruments and Nitinol-based medical.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen, deep understanding of the European medical device industry, and familiarity with regional regulatory environments. Preference will be given to candidates with an established network of decision-makers within medical device manufacturers, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Execute and refine a strategic sales plan tailored to the European market.
- Identify high-potential accounts and drive new business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets while aligning with company growth objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales tactics.
- Ability to sell medical device contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services, with a focus on service-based solutions rather than product sales.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts across Europe.
- Build long-term relationships with R&D, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Provide expert consultation on product applications and value propositions.
- Market Expansion & Brand Representation:
- Actively expand the customer base through targeted outreach and networking.
- Represent MedRes at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Work closely with internal teams to provide market feedback and insights.
- Reporting and Insights:
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements, competitive intelligence, and market conditions.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine go-to-market strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Meet predefined KPIs in alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Sales & Business Development Expertise:
- Proven track record in B2B medical device sales, preferably in contract manufacturing, surgical instruments, or interventional devices.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with experience managing high-value sales cycles.
- Knowledge of sales funnels, CRM platforms, and pipeline management.
- Market & Industry Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the European medical device ecosystem, including startups, SMEs, and large OEMs.
- Familiarity with CE marking and EU regulatory frameworks.
- Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in interventional and surgical markets.
- Communication & Relationship Management:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English (additional European languages are a plus).
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from engineers to C-suite executives.
- Technical & Digital Proficiency:
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn and articulate technical concepts related to surgical instruments and Nitinol.
- Travel Readiness & Autonomy:
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe for client meetings, events, and site visits.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams across MedRes.
