Our client is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to joint their team. In this role, you will focus on product compliance within the commercial legal function, offering strategic legal support to quality, compliance, and operational teams across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise internal stakeholders on legal matters related to technical product compliance, particularly supporting quality and operations functions.
• Guide the business through product recall and product integrity processes.
• Support regulatory inquiries and investigations by national and international authorities.
• Monitor and analyse legal developments and assess their impact on operations and compliance strategies.
• Conduct risk assessments and support the ongoing improvement of internal risk management systems.
• Draft legal opinions, compliance guidelines, and operational frameworks tailored to evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Deliver practical legal guidance aligned with business goals while mitigating legal risks.
• Develop and lead training sessions on regulatory compliance and product standards.

Your Profile:

• Fully qualified German lawyer.
• Several years of legal experience in product compliance.
• Strong understanding of technical and environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to communicate legal matters clearly across all organisational levels.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally and operate in a global working environment.
• Flexible approach to working hours and collaboration across time zones.
