Senior Equity Researcher

S&P Global's Issuer Solutions Team is a leading provider of market intelligence to issuers worldwide, helping them engage with internal and external stakeholders. Using advanced analytics and analyst expertise, we assist issuers in understanding the motivations behind stock purchases and sales, aiding in managing interactions with buy and sell-side entities. We operate globally, leveraging local expertise.

Responsibilities and Impact :

We are seeking a Senior Associate for the EMEA Shareholder Intelligence Team to :

• Provide clients with actionable insights into global investor activities.
• Develop and maintain advisory relationships with investor relations and executive teams.
• Contribute to service development, especially related to Ownership analytics using SRDII and MiKaDiv for German issuers.
• Collaborate with global researchers and analysts to gather intelligence on shareholder bases.
• Deliver regular and ad hoc reports on institutional investor activities and market-impacting topics.
• Participate in enhancing the team's service offerings.

What We're Looking For :

Basic Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of equity markets and investor relations experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong team player, thrives under pressure, and adapts to fast-paced environments.
• Native German speaker preferred; advanced English skills desired.
• Experience with Ownership Analytics, SRD II legislation in Germany, and knowledge of MiKaDiv is preferred.

Additional Preferred Qualifications :

• Strong Excel skills or experience with data tools like Alteryx or Power BI.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager for new challenges.
