Job Description
As an Associate Director within the Legal department, you will oversee one of the two Legal Operations teams, focusing on handling Authority requests (including FINMA requests) and related tasks. You will support the Bank in managing contracts, claims databases, and other operational legal tasks. Reporting directly to a Deputy Head of Legal - Vice-Director, you will supervise your team and manage personnel in alignment with senior management.

Team Management:
- Leadership and Support:

- Hiring:
- Lead recruitment in collaboration with your Talent Acquisition Partner.
- Ensure proper onboarding of new hires regarding team, organization, culture, policies, and roles.
- Performance Management:
- Set performance expectations, provide feedback, conduct reviews, and address issues.
- Manage underperformance processes with senior management and HR.
Operations Management:
- Organize and monitor team operations and capacity planning.
- Review and supervise complex cases.
- Implement and produce periodic reports and statistics.
- Document main procedures adequately.
- Coordinate internally with other Legal Operations Managers and departments; serve as the contact point for Authorities and external service providers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience handling Authorities and FINMA requests or in a Compliance role.
- Leadership experience is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in French and English; good command of German.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Proficiency in Excel/VBA.
