Project Director

My client is a global EPCM Consultancy, who due to winning a new project, are looking for a Project Director to join their new Pharmaceutical project in Basel, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

1. Accountable for overall EPC project performance, including but not limited to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), Financial, Schedule and Quality performance and construction.
2. End to End responsibility from conceptual design to end of Operational Qualification (OQ).
3. Highest escalation level within the project to client, contractor and the project team.
4. Develop and keep good communication and relationship with the Client.
5. Lead the project risk identification and mitigation plan development process.
6. Ensure corporate procedures, standards and guidelines are followed within the project disciplines (Project Management, Project Engineering & Design Manager, Project Commercial Manager, Project Site Manager / Construction Management).
7. Be a visible, positive and encouraging example influence for the project team members, both internally and externally. Provide guidance and motivation to the team.

Requirements

1. Master Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
2. 15+ years of Project Management and Director experience.
3. Extensive Pharmaceutical project experience.
4. Detailed knowledge in project execution and coordination.
5. Greenfield project experience, preferably having worked on projects with a worth of over €300 million.
6. PMI certification advantage.
7. Fluency in German speaking and writing is needed.
