Finance Lawyer

For our latest mandate, we are looking for a lawyer with experience in Commodity Trade Finance to join our client's legal team on a contract basis in Geneva.

Position Details:

• Banking | Commodity Trade Finance Lawyer | 6+ months | 100% | ASAP | Geneva (or Zurich) | CHF 140-180'000

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with external counsel on cross-border legal matters, including registration and deregistration of securities.
• Manage the migration and redocumentation of approximately 1,500 contracts across various jurisdictions and non-standard formats.
• Structure data, track documentation, and generate reports using Excel and internal systems.
• Handle legal and administrative aspects related to contract termination, client notification, and project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Legally qualified (Swiss or international), with a strong legal background in banking.
• Solid experience in general banking law, with exposure to bilateral financing, securities, and commodities.
• Proven ability to review, negotiate, and draft legal contracts and documentation.
• Proficient in Excel for data management and analysis.
• Fluent in English and French.
