About the Role

We are currently hiring an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the digital transformation of a leading organization in the financial and insurance sector. In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT operations and core banking systems, driving automation, monitoring, and high availability across critical platforms.

You can work from Chur, Zurich (The Circle), St. Gallen, Bern, or fully remotely from within Switzerland. Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements are available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for core banking applications and interfaces

• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure end-to-end system performance

• Support environment setup and software patching

• Automate operational processes using Shell, Automic, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD tools

• Implement monitoring and custom scripting for system observability

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless delivery
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in a DevOps role

• Strong in SQL, scripting, and automation tools

• Proactive, structured, and analytical mindset

• Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Finnova) is a plus

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk is a plus

• Fluent German (spoken and written) is required
