Our Solution Engineering Team (Pre-Sales) utilizes a range of technical skills, industry knowledge, and value storytelling to help our customers build their cloud journeys. In partnership with sales, we collaborate with our customers to inspire them with innovative solutions that deliver outstanding benefits and ROI to their businesses.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Manage a multidisciplinary Solution Engineering team focused on industry value propositions and customer/consultative storytelling to drive results in Switzerland, in strong partnership with the Swiss country leader.
- Lead the transformation of our Solution Engineering activities, mastering the ‘Art & Science’ of Pre-Sales. Leverage standardized tools to ensure efforts are repeatable and responsive to customer needs, while fostering innovation across offerings to remain relevant and results-oriented.
- Proactively identify customers for focused pursuits and partner with Sales leadership to drive the value story into each customer stakeholder map, generate engagement at all levels, and achieve impact.
- Drive and inspire the strategic growth of your region with a higher local purpose and alignment, supported by a deep understanding of geographic and industry market needs.
- Engage multiple cross-functional resources related to customer needs and product enhancements.
- Manage hiring, as well as the performance and growth of team members.
WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?
- The ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of technical and value-based pre-sales specialists and managers.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
5 years of experience in Pre-Sales as a leader
- Proven track record of advising customers on decisions and directions with industry best practice solutions.
- Good knowledge of SaaS applications and how they support both Corporate IT and Business objectives.
- Sales methodology knowledge, including consultative value selling.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in English and German; French is a strong plus.

As part of the Oracle sales team, you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provide technical and functional leadership to the sales team in developing and implementing customer applications and products. Participate in account planning and strategy development. May publish technical information or articles related to specific applications. Collaborate with management to define new products. Serve as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
