Solution Architect / Lead - Workday HCM - vacancy for our Basel-based client in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

1. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, Workday programme technical & functional leads, Data Protection, IT Strategy & Architecture, Platform Services & Service Management, and 3rd Party System Integrators
2. Manage and guide Solution Architects and Technical analysts assigned to the Modernisation programme
3. Act as a "go-to" person for the technology workstream (Vendor and IT tech experts, Corporate Security experts, etc.) during the complete implementation cycle
4. Ensure all activities related to the design, build, testing, and implementation of the programme's technical solution are properly documented, reviewed, and signed off
5. Ensure the design and implementation follow best practices for both technical and non-functional requirements
6. Deliver architecture practices for HRM aligned with leading standards, leveraging standard Workday features to minimize customizations, with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Your experience/knowledge:

1. Proven experience as a Workday Architect, with a successful track record in Workday implementations, defining HR systems technical requirements, and delivering practical solutions
2. Strong understanding of HR processes and policies, with experience in systems like ServiceNow and HR service management tools
3. Expertise in architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and various IT architecture disciplines (application, integration, infrastructure, security)
4. Experience in enterprise integration and designing solutions for cloud and on-premise environments
5. Hands-on experience with complex system implementations and driving business change initiatives to align technical solutions with business goals
6. Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
7. Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
8. High level of self-organization and time management
9. Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
