Supply Chain Network Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop optimised supply chain network capacities based on business requirements and customer needs.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses of current supplier, logistics operations, transportation, warehouse, and inventory practices.
• Utilise advanced modeling techniques, data and software to simulate supply chain scenarios and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, operations, and sales to align network design with overall business strategy.
• Prepare and present business cases for decisions of network design changes, including sustainability, cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
• Support and collaborate with knowledge to continuously upgrade based on the latest supply chain trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply chain network design, logistics, or operations management.
• Proficiency in supply chain modeling software (e.g., Supply Chain Guru, AnyLogic, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Working practices in data management and structuring using advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc.
• Knowledge of regulatory and industry-specific supply chain and logistics requirements.
