Cloud Consultant

This position demands a deep understanding of Azure, security principles, and hybrid systems to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions while maintaining critical on-premise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Azure Landing Zones, adhering to best practices.
• Collaborate with the network zones team to design and maintain cloud network architecture.
• Guide the migration from on-premise to hybrid environments, ensuring critical legacy components remain operational.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate on-premises infrastructure needs into Azure-based solutions.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business-level stakeholders.

Additional Contributions:

• Automate deployments and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Create and enforce strategies for cloud security, governance, and operations.
• Configure, manage, and document Azure-based solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance for teams adopting cloud technologies.

What You Bring:

Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services and tools (Azure certifications are a plus).
• Advanced security knowledge, including risk mapping and security matrix creation.
• Previous experience working in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Automation and IaC knowledge (e.g. Git, Terraform, Bicep) as well as CI/CD pipelines (Github, Github Actions, Azure DevOps).

Language Skills:

• B2 German is a minimum and C1 level English, with excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
