What it's about

In this position, you will join the Private Wealth Client Solutions team at Partners Group's headquarters in Zug. As a wholesale Private Markets salesperson, you will build and expand relationships with private wealth distribution channels primarily in Switzerland. This role involves managing existing relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities, requiring close collaboration with the global team.

Your key responsibilities will include :

  1. Developing and managing relationships with private wealth partners such as global, regional, and local banks, and asset managers.
  2. Sourcing and leading distribution projects and product initiatives, coordinating interactions across various fund types.
  3. Mapping the investor landscape, planning, and executing cold call campaigns.
  4. Presenting the full range of Partners Group's solutions, including operational and regulatory features.
  5. Supporting strategic distribution projects and daily tasks.
  6. Collaborating with private wealth teams on solutions, structuring, and product positioning.
  7. Gaining expertise in private markets, Partners Group's platform, and investment strategies.
  8. Understanding competitors' offerings to effectively position Partners Group's solutions.
  9. Creating tailored marketing materials and responses to client inquiries.
  10. Managing the client journey from contract negotiations and onboarding to relationship management.

What we expect

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the private wealth industry and 5-8 years of experience working with GPs or distribution partners. The role requires someone entrepreneurial with strong networking and organizational skills.

The successful candidate should have the following profile :

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA, Master's, CFA preferred) in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in private markets, business development, consulting, sales, or relationship management.
  • Experience in fund selection and institutional sales within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Private Markets is a plus.
  • Proven success in client relationship management and fundraising.
  • Knowledge of alternatives, especially semi-liquid products, mutual funds, and closed-ended funds.
  • Proficiency in business English and German; additional languages like French or Italian are beneficial.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to excellence.
  • Responsive, deadline-oriented, and client-focused.
