Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Canton Ticino - hybrid

Our partner, an innovative technology company specialising in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to contribute to the evolution of their IT operations and enterprise integrations.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for complex IT infrastructure issues.
• Manage Windows, macOS, and productivity tools like Microsoft 365 and Slack.
• Implement proactive monitoring for system health, patching, and compliance.
• Oversee IT service delivery and ticket resolution processes.
• Advise stakeholders on IT best practices and system utilization.
• Lead IT integration projects, including SaaS and enterprise platforms.
• Drive automation to improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure while ensuring security and compliance.
• Mentor junior IT staff and promote continuous improvement.
• Enforce security policies, manage risk, and oversee disaster recovery plans.
  
  

Your Profile

• Over five years of experience in IT support, infrastructure operations, and cloud system management.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across various IT environments.
• Skilled in enterprise IT tools, including Microsoft 365, Slack, and Entra ID.
• Experience in IT automation, scripting, and system integration.
• Knowledge of MDM solutions like Intune, Jamf, or Kandji.
• Practical experience with networking concepts such as VLANs, firewalls, and VPN configuration.
• Relevant certifications, including Microsoft Azure Administrator, ITIL, or CompTIA Network+/Security+, are a plus.
• Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Italian is a valuable asset.
