One of Switzerland's finest luxury hotels, The Woodward, Auberge Resorts Collection, is located on the stunning shores of Lake Geneva. Poste

Under the supervision of the chef, sous-chefs, and chefs de partie, you will be responsible for all types of kitchen work. As a Commis de Cuisine, you are an ambassador of the luxury service offered to our clientele. Your daily tasks will include:

  1. Receiving goods
  2. Checking the weight and freshness of products according to procedures
  3. Setting up your station and preliminary preparation of products
  4. Assisting in plate presentation according to technical sheets
  5. Ensuring compliance with sanitary standards and food safety practices

The Jardinier in Geneva, co-founded by starred chef Alain Verzeroli and led by Executive Chef Olivier Jean, offers refined cuisine focused on seasonal, local produce, including fruits, vegetables, and herbs. Located within a hotel, the restaurant provides a bright, verdant setting with stunning lake views, blending indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for sharing.

Qualifications

  • Experience: You hold a culinary diploma or an equivalent hotel school qualification, with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a starred restaurant or a 5-star Palace hotel.
  • Personality: Knowledge of gastronomic culture, rigor, dynamism, and a good team spirit are essential qualities for this position.
  • Languages: Must speak, read, and write French and English.
  • Availability: Immediate start preferred.
