Senior Accountant

Main activities

This role is pivotal in the digital transformation of the finance function, combining technical and accounting expertise.

1. Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives to enhance accounting workflows.
2. Configure and optimize data to automate invoice reading and entry.
3. Define and structure the workflow from purchase to payment.
4. Optimize accounting processes by eliminating redundant data entry and integrating digital tools.
5. Stay updated with technological advancements and propose process enhancements.
6. Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice reception, payment, account reconciliation, and archiving.
7. Capitalize fixed assets, perform monthly depreciation, handle documentation, disposal, and impairment losses.
8. Handle the tax cycle, including VAT and corporate taxes.
9. Reconcile and control payroll journal entries, including provisions.
10. Perform monthly and annual closing within the scope of responsibility.
11. Integrate, control, and consolidate the Group's holding company, including reconciling intercompany transactions.
12. Participate in annual audits.
13. Improve financial closing processes and periodic reporting continuously.
14. Contribute actively to the implementation and execution of internal control procedures.
15. Participate in various improvement projects within the Finance department.

Your profile

• Educational background: Bachelor's degree, Federal Accounting Certification, or equivalent qualification.
• Required experience: Minimum of 5 years in an accounting role with digitalization expertise, preferably in an international mid-sized company.
• Strong knowledge of financial applications (e.g., SAP Business One) and office software.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
