This role is designed to support the CMM in their role, ensuring that the compliance function administration and audits are carried out to the high standard expected in compliance.

Duties:

  1. Ensure that the Compliance Monitoring Department’s documentation is kept relevant and current.
  2. Assist the CMM to plan, develop, coordinate and implement audit procedures and the Annual Audit Plan.
  3. Undertake audits as assigned in the Audit Plan.
  4. Support the CMM in ensuring consistency and efficiency of the audit process.
  5. Advise management on the required corrective actions.
  6. Ensure that regulatory changes are incorporated into the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  7. Disseminate compliance-related information to management and operational personnel to promote awareness of compliance issues and results.
  8. Distribute the latest edition of the IOSA Standards Manual (ISM) and its revisions annually to all NP/Managers to maintain IOSA standards conformance.
  9. Assist the CMM in communication with TM CAD regarding the Compliance Monitoring Program and regulatory standards.
  10. Act as liaison with external parties such as customers or auditors on compliance matters when instructed by the CMM.
  11. Monitor that personnel receive relevant training on Mel Air CMS (MSM Section 9).
  12. Support the CMM in planning and managing auditor training, maintaining updated information on auditor suitability and independence in QAO_AAL_1.
  13. Coordinate the SAFA database.
  14. Ensure proper administration of compliance information in Coruson software.
  15. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accountable Manager.

Qualifications and requirements:

  1. At least one year of relevant experience as a compliance auditor (Air Ops).
  2. Formal training in SMS including Risk Management.
  3. Training in compliance monitoring systems and auditing techniques.
  4. Proficiency in English; advanced Spanish skills are highly valuable.
  5. Verifiable knowledge of:
  • The applicable EASA AIR OPS and national safety regulations and procedures.
  • The structure and content of the Management System Manual.
  • The relevant parts of the Operations Manual.
  • The concept of compliance monitoring.
  • Qualified Air Ops (EASA) Auditor.
  • Qualified IOSA Auditor (a distinct advantage).
