Chemical Engineer

For our laboratory based in Itingen BL, we are looking for a

Chemical Engineer

who wishes to join a multidisciplinary and international group, in a stimulating environment, to actively participate in the proper functioning of the laboratory and in the execution of instrumental analyses with cutting-edge equipment.

• Team member of a R&D project.
• Organic synthesis and polymer synthesis (lab scale).
• Weekly reporting on results and planification of the project step.
• Carrying out the various stages of research such as literature survey, reagents ordering, formulation / synthesis, IPC, QC, purification, and characterization.
• Surface chemistry and characterization.

Profile

• Chemical engineer or a Master degree with good knowledge in organic chemistry and / or polymer chemistry.
• Knowledge or experience in surface chemistry is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office. ERP experience is a plus.

Professional requirements

• Excellent teamplayer, knowing how to work autonomously and take initiatives
• Excellent communication skills (weekly reporting, sharing results and objectives)
• Rigor and sense of organization

Languages

• German : written and spoken (main working language)
• English : written and spoken (mandatory)
• French : a strong advantage
