In your functions, you will have to :
Teaching (45%)
Six hours a week of teaching throughout the year at Bachelor’s and Master’s level. Additionaly supervision of Master’s dissertations and PhD theses.
Research (50%)
The post-holder will pursue their own research in political sociology in one or more research fields of the Research Centre for Political Action at the University of Lausanne (CRAPUL): sociology of social movements and militantism (political action), analysis of the political dimension of socialisation processes, sociology of political institutions and political sociology of the law, and sociology of political crises.
They will be expected to produce high-quality international publications. It is expected that the post-holder will be affiliated to the CRAPUL of the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) and will collaborate with its members on joint projects.
They will also seek external funding, in particular from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
Administrative responsibilities (5%)
In accordance with statutory requirements and in the name of collegiality, the post-holder will take on any administrative tasks that may be assigned to them by the Institute, Faculty, University or university decision-making bodies.
