This is a remote position with occasional onsite presence. However, there is also the option to work from the offices in Solothurn.

40% workload, ideally structured as four half-days.

We are looking for a Procurement Manager with a focus on Category Management to assist with the sourcing and procurement activities related to our HR Information System (HR IS) project. This role supports category planning, supplier selection, and contract coordination for IT and HR services, working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure procurement goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for IT and HR services, specifically for the HR IS project.
  • Conduct supplier market research, assist with supplier evaluations, and maintain vendor records.
  • Help draft, issue, and evaluate RFPs/RFIs in alignment with category plans.
  • Coordinate stakeholder input across Procurement, HR, IT, and Legal to ensure smooth sourcing cycles.
  • Support commercial negotiations by preparing cost comparisons, tracking savings, and summarizing offers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct relationship management tasks.
  • Contribute to category reporting, data analysis, and procurement dashboards.

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years in Procurement or Category Management, ideally within IT, HR or professional services.
  • Solid experience in sourcing processes, supplier selection, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with legal and commercial terms related to software and consulting services.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English is required; French is a plus.
  • Experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Ariba) is an advantage.
