Job Description

Join Avaloq's new, dynamic innovation team. Our mission is to design and develop cloud-centric banking solutions, shaping the future of banking technology. You will be surrounded by smart, highly capable people who are passionate about building the next generation of innovative banking solutions. The focus is on modular design, extreme scalability, and cost-efficiency across the end-to-end Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) value chain.

We are looking for an intrapreneurial and versatile Cloud Architect/Engineer to join our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a scalable, secure, and cost-efficient SaaS cloud platform.
• Develop and optimize cloud-native solution architectures to ensure high performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
• Architect and implement cloud infrastructures and solutions, including networking, observability, scalability, and application integrations.
• Establish and drive DevSecOps best practices, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and security automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture of technical excellence, innovation, and DevOps.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), security, networking, and cloud-native architectures.
• Understanding the requirements and needs of banks impacting technology solutions.
• Experience with cloud-centric SaaS operating models in the B2B context.
• Hands-on experience with landing zone design and implementation, DevOps and security practices, and SaaS application development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor others.
