Role Overview :
In response to strong market demand and the increasing impact of Technology (Cloud, AI, Data Management, Cyber Risks), we are seeking consultants who can work directly with clients to help them understand and address the risks associated with the technologies that support their business. This involves interacting with client staff and senior stakeholders, managing multiple assignments, and collaborating with global EY teams. You will learn about new IT risk areas, work across various clients and sectors, and handle complex issues daily.
Your key Responsibilities :
- Take responsibility for the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple engagements, motivate teams, coach colleagues, and report to executives.
- Evaluate clients' technology environments from technical and business perspectives, conducting in-depth assessments of IT processes, risks, and controls through interviews, desktop analysis, and system inspections.
- Review complex system setups (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and technology governance frameworks aligned with industry standards (ITIL, COBIT, NIST).
- Participate in certification and attestation engagements such as SOC, ISAE, ISO certifications, from both audit and implementation perspectives.
- Assess system implementations, including data migration, system design, and architecture.
- Evaluate cybersecurity risks and recommend security improvements.
- Leverage data analytics and automation to enhance audit efficiency.
- Provide clients with insights and pragmatic recommendations to improve performance, efficiency, and risk management.
- Develop strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of our technology risk competencies.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields; keen interest in technology trends.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in IT auditing or risk & assurance roles.
- Strong project management, analytical, reporting skills, and a positive problem-solving attitude.
- Experience with ERP and financial systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, JDE) audit tools and data analytics (SQL, Power BI).
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, commitment, eagerness to learn, and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French; German is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-industry, multinational environment.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Familiarity with IT frameworks and standards (COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL).
- Professional certifications such as CGEIT, CISA, CISM, CISSP, COBIT, CRISC, ITIL.
