About Our Client

Our client is a leading European operator in wireless telecommunications infrastructure. The company provides shared infrastructure solutions to mobile network operators, public entities, and businesses. They have a rapidly growing portfolio of sites and support the development of next-generation networks, including 5G/6G and IoT.

In this context, we are looking for an engineer with experience in telecom network infrastructure commissioning and delivery. This role involves handling projects in the French/German-speaking regions.

The position can be based in Lausanne or Bern.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Civil Project Engineer / Bauingenieur

• Management of site projects: new infrastructure build, upgrades, re-engineering, site sharing, decommissioning, telecom and transmission hardware installations.
• Support infrastructure design activities and participate in site surveys.
• Coordinate subcontractor offers and manage procurement of services and materials.
• Plan and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with scope and objectives.
• Perform risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate project risks.
• Handle project changes and escalate deviations from design or budget as needed.

The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree or related technical discipline preferred.
• Experience with mobile network technology.

Languages: Fluency in French, German, and English.
