Project Description:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of dental and oral health products. As part of the company's strategic evolution, we are developing a new cloud platform that combines the company's high-quality intellectual property with the power of cloud technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to improve dental services worldwide and collaborate with professionals globally on a high-demand, high-load system.

Responsibilities:

You will play a pivotal role in establishing, scaling, and maintaining a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency, efficiency, and excellent user experiences across various dental products and digital platforms. This hands-on role involves creating, refining, and maintaining design components, templates, patterns, and visual assets, working closely with UX designers, researchers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and success of the design system.

• Develop components, templates, patterns, visual elements, and guidelines to promote consistency, scalability, and responsiveness across all products, incorporating emerging trends, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Support design and development teams through design reviews, feedback, and communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of the design system across projects.
• Engage in research and ask critical questions to understand key use cases, ensuring data-driven design decisions.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and introduce innovative solutions to enhance user experience and design impact.
• Promote best practices, create documentation, and conduct onboarding sessions to facilitate adoption of the design system.
• Potentially visit the Zurich office weekly (mainly Wednesdays, with flexibility).

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in design systems, visual, UI, and UX design for digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design system development and UI/UX processes.
• Experience working with global, multidisciplinary teams of UX professionals, product managers, and technical leads.
• Deep understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design with high attention to detail.
• System-thinking skills, focusing on holistic design beyond individual components.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, capable of leading complex projects and building consensus.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Business English fluency is required.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in B2B product design.
• Knowledge of languages other than English.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
