Job Description

Overview

Summary

You will become a member of a dynamic, proactive, innovative, and enthusiastic team where everyone’s contribution counts. We enjoy working with like-minded colleagues who want to join forces and go the extra mile to improve the lives of patients and build sustainable operations in Europe and abroad.

The role integrates three key dimensions:

  1. Develop access and pricing launch strategy for Incyte’s assets (see portfolio at incyte.com).
  2. Execute strategy across Incyte’s international footprint and ensure country readiness with support from local affiliate dedicated Value Access & Pricing colleagues.
  3. Provide input into pipeline asset development.

Responsibilities

Specifically, responsibilities related to Value, Access, Pricing, and HEOR strategy and execution in full coordination with XF partners include:

  • Develop access strategies for assets to ensure patient access and recognition of value across the EU region, and facilitate HTA assessment and pricing negotiations through appropriate data generation and broad, early cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify data gaps and propose/executing remediation plans, such as data generation in collaboration with country, medical, and HEOR teams, to inform EU HTA and data generation strategies.
  • Create resources to optimize HTA submissions and outcomes, such as C/E models, Core Value dossiers, and objection handling.
  • Develop a perspective on pricing drivers based on in-depth analysis of key countries, considering comparators, HTA ratings, subpopulations, and C/E ratios.
  • Create a pricing strategy to be endorsed by the Pricing Committee based on this analysis.
  • Support country P&R negotiations actively.
  • Develop KPIs and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
  • Participate in relevant Clinical Development and Commercialization Teams to ensure access interests are integrated into go-to-market strategies.
  • Support and challenge country Market Access Directors to ensure superior local performance.
  • Lead and execute VAP deliverables as outlined above.
  • Contribute to fostering a culture of business integrity and ethics.
  • Operate within compliance, legal requirements, and company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Ability to simplify complex issues and articulate key strategic choices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Preferably, 3 to 8 years of experience with health authorities, governmental economists, reimbursement agencies, hospital administrators, or healthcare insurance companies, acquired at pharmaceutical companies, sickness funds, physician associations, or healthcare consultancy firms.
  • Postgraduate training (Master’s or higher) in Science or an analytical discipline.
