We are currently looking to recruit an ambitious, driven, and team-spirited Technical Project Manager (f/m/d) for our Signalling Projects in the DACH Region, at our Zurich site.
Your tasks
- Managing the technical aspects of signalling projects: Working closely with the Signalling Team to manage the technical aspects of signalling projects. Understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Analyzing customer needs, defining the project scope, and identifying suitable signalling technologies.
- Support CBTC & ETCS Signalling Projects: Support ETCS and CBTC bids and projects by providing technical solutions.
- Ensuring system compatibility: Collaborate with technical experts to ensure seamless system integration and project requirements fulfillment. Participate in meetings, respond to inquiries, and provide technical support.
- Coordinating project activities: Ensure systems meet specifications. Provide technical guidance, answer questions, and resolve technical issues during the project.
- Supporting Bid Teams: Offer technical input for proposals and tenders. Participate in customer meetings and guide the bid team to propose appropriate signalling solutions. Act as the technical interface between development teams, customers, and the bid team.
- Communicating with stakeholders: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, development teams, and project teams. Ensure alignment of signalling system design and implementation.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience in railway, defense, aerospace, or related fields
- Knowledge of electrical schematics
- Autonomous, proactive work approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English and German
- Flexibility to travel 25-30% of the time
