The Sustainability Project Manager works in the Group Sustainability Team and contributes to the development and implementation of Belimo's groupwide sustainability strategy and program.

What You'll Do

1. Develop and implement Belimo's sustainability strategy based on the double materiality assessment, ensuring stakeholder alignment and collaboration with the Team Lead Group Sustainability.
2. Manage interdisciplinary projects to define measures, targets, and metrics within Belimo's sustainability strategy.
3. Support Sustainability Steering Committee meetings, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation.
4. Oversee the implementation of Belimo's climate strategy and support decarbonization measures while tracking progress towards climate targets.
5. Handle annual sustainability reporting requirements, working with Group Controlling and Investor Relations to meet standards like GRI, ESRS / CSRD, and EU Taxonomy.
6. Support the submission and improvement of ESG ratings and monitor the regulatory landscape, translating legislation into actionable plans for compliance.
7. Assist in communicating the sustainability strategy, roadmap, and projects, collaborating with communication teams to engage stakeholders effectively.

Who You Are

• Degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field (BSc or MSc) with professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working across organizational levels.
• Expertise in sustainability reporting and familiarity with standards such as GRI, ESRS / CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and TCFD / IFRS S1/S2.
• Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting and decarbonization strategies; familiarity with life cycle assessments, environmental product declarations, and Ecodesign / ESPR is a plus.
• Proven project management and leadership skills for managing global, interdisciplinary teams.
• Structured, autonomous work style with multitasking skills and resilience under pressure.
• Broad IT skills, analytical mindset, and sense of responsibility for handling complex tasks efficiently.
