For the management of taxes and social security contributions, we are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented specialist who, with the support of consulting firms in our international business network, takes over the coordination and management of these contributory aspects. Additionally, this position supports the Company Secretary as well as the Data Protection Officer.
The ideal candidate must have a few years of experience in the field of taxes and social contributions, while for the activities relating to Company Secretary and Data Protection, the Company provides, if necessary, an adequate training to acquire the necessary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax compliance
- Ensure the Company complies with tax regulations and interact effectively with third party tax consultants.
- Oversee the process of taxes and social contributions payments to various countries - in and outside of Europe
- Active Communication and Tax Query Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax consultants, international employees, and internal departments, providing clarifications and assistance as needed.
- Address and resolve tax queries from international employees in collaboration with tax consultants.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update records for future reference, such as audits.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient record-keeping processes.
- Reporting:
- Ensure the provision of payroll reports to various Saipem companies worldwide, to facilitate the preparation of payrolls for tax and social security payments.
- Generate and provide various reports to tax consultants to support local registration processes.
- Company Secretary Support:
- Preparing agendas and minutes for board and shareholder’s meetings.
- Maintaining essential board documents and records.
- Acting as a liaison between the board and management.
- Data Protection Officer Support:
- providing information and advice to relevant parties about the obligations arising from the relevant privacy.
- monitoring compliance with the relevant laws.
- providing advice about the data protection impact assessment and monitoring its performance.
- cooperating with competent supervisory authorities.
- keeping records of the processing activities under the company’s responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Legal degree (Accounting/Finance would also be considered)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in tax compliance and social security administration
- Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
